Pineapple Brown Sugar Mississippi Lil’ Smokies Bites

Ingredients:
2 packages (14 oz each) Lil’ Smokies sausages
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup pineapple juice
1 cup pineapple chunks (fresh or canned)
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)

Instructions:

Step 1: Mix glaze ingredients combine brown sugar, pineapple juice, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and cayenne in a bowl until smooth.
Step 2: Add Lil’ Smokies place in slow cooker and pour glaze over top, stirring gently to coat.
Step 3: Add pineapple chunks toss lightly so fruit blends evenly with the sauce.
Step 4: Cook cover and cook on low for 4 hours or high for 2 hours until sausages are heated and sauce thickens.
Step 5: Serve keep warm in slow cooker or transfer to dish with toothpicks for snacking.
