Jalapeño Cream Cheese Dip

Ingredients:

2–3 roasted jalapeños, peeled, seeded, and chopped

8 oz (1 package) cream cheese, softened

¼ cup sour cream (optional, for a smoother texture)

½ cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional, for extra flavor)

1 clove garlic, minced (optional, for a kick)

Salt and pepper, to taste

Juice of ½ lime (optional, for brightness)

Instructions:

1. Roast the jalapeños:
You can roast them over an open flame, under the broiler, or in a hot skillet until charred on all sides. Let them steam in a covered bowl or bag for 5–10 minutes, then peel off the skin, remove seeds (unless you want it extra spicy), and chop.

2. Mix the base:
In a bowl, combine softened cream cheese with the roasted jalapeños. Add sour cream if you want a creamier texture.

3. Add extras (optional):
Mix in cheddar cheese, minced garlic, lime juice, and season with salt and pepper.

4. Blend (optional):
For a smoother dip, blend all ingredients in a food processor.
