Apple Bites That Melt in Your Mouth
Ingredients
- 2 large apples
- 2 eggs
- 80 g sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 80 ml milk
- 30 g melted butter
- 80 g all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- Sugar for sprinkling (optional)
Instructions
- Peel the apples, remove the cores, and slice them thinly.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk the eggs, sugar, and vanilla extract until the mixture becomes light and slightly frothy.
- Add the melted butter and milk, then mix until well combined.
- Sift in the flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir gently until the batter is smooth and free of lumps.
- Fold in the apple slices, making sure they are evenly coated with the batter.
- Pour the mixture into a small greased baking pan or one lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 35–40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool before removing it from the pan, then cut it into bite-sized squares.
Secret Tip
Before baking, lightly sprinkle the top with sugar. As it bakes, it will create a thin, golden, crispy crust that makes these apple bites taste just like they came from a traditional bakery.
Soft, moist, and filled with tender apple in every bite!
