Pickle Jar Seasoned Crackers

This recipe is straight fire! These seasoned crackers are crunchy, savory, and ridiculously addictive. They’re perfect for parties, road trips, game day, or just keeping on the counter for an easy snack. Best part? Only a few ingredients and ready with almost no effort!

Ingredients

  • ¾–1¼ cups canola oil (no substitutes)
  • 1–1½ packets (about 1–1½ oz) dry ranch dressing mix
  • 12–18 oz (about 1 box) saltine crackers
  • ½–1½ teaspoons cayenne pepper (optional, but highly recommended for a kick)

Instructions

  1. Stand the saltine crackers upright in a clean, large jar or container.
  2. In a bowl or measuring cup, combine the canola oil, dry ranch dressing mix, and cayenne pepper. Mix well until fully combined.
  3. Slowly pour the seasoned oil mixture over the crackers. Tilt and rotate the jar as you pour so the oil gets into all the cracks and crevices.
  4. Seal the jar with a lid. Let the crackers sit for at least 24 hours, shaking and rotating the jar occasionally, until all the oil is absorbed.

These crackers get better the longer they sit. Once ready, they stay crunchy and full of flavor for days!
