Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Ingredients
- Peel and slice bananas.
- Pit the dates and chop them into small pieces (softer if soaked in warm water for 5 minutes).
- Peel garlic cloves. If you prefer milder garlic, lightly roast them in a dry skillet for 2 minutes until golden.
Step 2: Blend
- Place bananas, dates, garlic, honey, and warm milk (or water) in a blender.
- Blend until smooth and creamy. Add more liquid if needed for desired consistency.
Step 3: Serve
- Pour into a glass and drink immediately as a tonic.
- Or refrigerate 30 minutes for a chilled, thicker mixture.
Tips & Variations
- Energy booster smoothie: Add a handful of almonds or walnuts for extra protein.
- Detox style: Add 1 tbsp lemon juice and a small piece of ginger with the garlic.
- For kids: Use only 1 clove garlic (raw can be strong) and balance with extra banana or honey.
- Storage: Best consumed fresh, but can be kept refrigerated in a sealed jar for up to 24 hours.
