This colorful and creamy Mosaic Jello Dessert is always a crowd favorite! Made with vibrant flavored gelatin cubes suspended in a rich vanilla cream mixture, it’s perfect for parties, holidays, potlucks, or selling in individual cups.
For the Colored Jello Cubes
Ingredients:
4–5 boxes flavored gelatin (strawberry, lemon, pineapple, grape, orange, etc.)
Hot water
Cold water
Instructions:
Prepare each flavor separately, using only half the amount of water called for on the package. This helps the gelatin set firmer and hold its shape.
Pour each flavor into shallow containers or baking dishes.
Refrigerate for at least 3–4 hours, or until fully set.
Cut the gelatin into medium-sized cubes and keep chilled until ready to use.
For the Creamy Filling
Ingredients:
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 can evaporated milk
1 cup whole milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 packets unflavored gelatin (1 oz / 28g total)
½ cup cold water
Instructions:
Sprinkle the unflavored gelatin over the cold water and let it sit for 10 minutes to bloom.
Microwave for 15–20 seconds, or heat gently using a double boiler until dissolved. Do not boil.
In a blender, combine:
Sweetened condensed milk
Evaporated milk
Whole milk
Vanilla extract
With the blender running, slowly pour in the dissolved gelatin and blend until smooth.
